WHY INVEST?
The reason for investing is different for everyone. You may want to build enough of a capital nest so that you can provide you and your family a better way of life. Investments involves a certain amount of risks. As you may well know, incurring greater risks entails greater rewards. As an investor, you minimize those risks by due diligence so that you can oversee potential profits beyond the risks. Investing is not about becoming rich overnight. More importantly, it is a long term commitment and devotion of hard work. You have to learn, analyze, and understand. If you have the desire to achieve financial freedom as an real estate investor, you have to be a real estate entrepreneur. You have to build your knowledge, experience and develop intuition with a great desire in mind.
REAL ESTATE AS A INVESTMENT VEHICHLE
Investments in real estate is certainly less volatile than stocks. As we have seen in a declining stock market the last few years, many have lost money in stocks. However, investments in real estate remained a safe haven where there has been a steady appreciation. In addition. investments in real estate provides the risk from inflation whereas, conservative fixed income investments do not. The buying power of cash depreciates, the more time passes by. If you have $10,000 cash for 20 years, the value won't be the same. Real estate, however, rises in value with inflation. So it's value will not decrease as if it would with cash in 20 years. Real estate investments also has the advantages of tax deductions and write offs giving investors the opportunities to utilize creative strategies in order to maximize their profits. All in all, sound investments in real estate have provided many with incredible financial independence and security.
